Inside the Berm
About

Sources & licences

Inside the Berm is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. Attraction names are used only to identify them. We do not use Disney's artwork, maps, photos or video.

How we label what we know

  • Surveyed: measured from public data, such as map outlines or laser scans.
  • Confirmed: backed by published sources, linked next to the fact.
  • Estimated or interpreted: our best reconstruction, labeled so you can tell.
  • Unconfirmed: fan claims we have not been able to verify.

Data

  • Building outlines, the railroad, water and ride paths: © OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database License.
  • Heights, trees and the rail bed: USGS 3D Elevation Program, CA_OrangeCo_2011 point cloud, public domain.
  • Haunted Mansion ride layout: traced from the fan-surveyed track map published by DoomBuggies.com.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean layout: the OpenStreetMap boat route, with scene zones placed in the order Wikipedia describes. Water levels are estimated.
  • Matterhorn: the mountain is the USGS LiDAR surface at 1 m. Both bobsled tracks are interpreted, built to the published lift height and track lengths.
  • Ambient sound is generated live in your browser. It contains no recordings or music from the parks.
